One Night Stand with the Werewolves
    Moving to Miami was probably not the smartest move for Derek and Nick. There were very few of their kind in the city, and even then, it would be very hard to locate them. They did, however, need a new start in life and Miami, with its beautiful beaches and even more beautiful women, seemed to be the best option for a fresh beginning. They had many enemies of their kind and they had been desperate to escape conflict, and, unfortunately, their enemies were spread out wide throughout most of the state. They arrived in Miami and enrolled in college as a cover up, what would hopefully be a safe haven, although they were not your typical college kids. Derek was just over a century old, while Nick was slightly younger than him, but still no spring chicken. Unlike human beings, Derek, Nick and their kind were immortals and could live to be thousands of years old. They had dominated the northern parts of the U.S. for years, but the nefarious ones had come and taken over, doing things like killing human beings for fun, things that Derek and Nick would never have any part of. They did not kill for fun or at random. They only exercised their lethal powers when they were threatened, which practically never happened.
    Hanging out with the “bad crowd” of werewolves also had its disadvantages since there was the risk of being discovered by human beings. If the humans ever found out that werewolves existed, one thing was for sure: they would not rest until they had hunted, experimented on and killed all of them. However, the chances of humans killing werewolves were close to nil due to the incredible super powers they possessed of amazing strength, vigor, and the ability to transcend time and space in any instant. This eased their fears of being uncovered by humans, but they still tried to remain discreet about the secret facets of their existence nonetheless. Derek and Nick moved to Miami with a mission to gather and mobilize a grand force of benevolent werewolves to conquer and destroy the nefarious ones. The task ahead of them was daunting and a tall order to say the least.
    On a positive note, Miami had some great things going for it. One of the top perks for the two werewolves was an abundance of hot young mortal women. “There she goes, Derek, the chick that you are always talking about,” Nick said, nudging Derek in the ribs with his elbow as they made their way out of a lecture hall.
    “Now that is what I'm talking about, baby, look at that hotness,” Derek said, looking at the big bodied girl that he had a crush on since the time that they had joined the university and he had set his eyes on her.
