Antonia paused, looking down upon the scene, and her breath caught in her throat. ‘You are a most beautiful animal, Kate.’ She walked over, sitting down in the same spot that Thomas had occupied earlier, but she pulled the sheets up a little to cover Kate’s breasts. ‘Decorum, dear, even from a woman who has just left a strong man barely able to walk.’
    Kate’s arm had dropped to her side and now she pulled the sheets higher. Her eyes dipped away. ‘My apologies.’
